Bug Windsurf 1.12.16 Windows WSL hangs Setting up WSL Distro

When trying to open a second folder on the same wsl distro, windsurf 1.12.16 hangs with he message "Setting up WSL Distro" Another user experienced a similar problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/windsurf/comments/1o3i525/seems_somethings_wrong_with_the_latest_update_and/ It is fixed by rolling back to 1.12.12.

This is a huge issue for me as I work on multiple different code repos for my company every day. This is causing me to consider going back to cursor or vscode. How can we tell if the windsurf eng team is looking into this?
