While that would be the ideal solution i am pretty sure that there are no plans for this at all since they're making a killing off of how it is now.
Another idea would be to have a cheaper entry plan so users can actually use what they need to.
Like just cutting the price and credit count down the middle.
Instead of just $15 for 500 credits (1-10-26 pricing)
Bring back the initial monthly plan as-well of $10 for 250 credits.
My personal opinion is that there needs to be a 1000 credit plan. There needs to be some intermediary between forcing users to go the enterprise route and needing multiple accounts and swapping back and forth over and over and over.

being forced to over pay for addon credits.

Agreed!!! We pay for them and then lose them? that doesn't seem fair at all. I bought 4000 extra credits as a way to back myself up, like an overdraft. If one month (and I have examples of this) when I am coding constantly, but the following month, I don't have the same amount of time, I don't think we should be penalized for not using the tool, and end up paying just to keep the subscription open and our backup tokens accessible.
I also think there should be levels of access. When my subscription stopped, because of a expired card, I lost TOTAL access to my account. Include the 4000 tokens. That also does not seem fair.
When you pay for something it should be yours until you are ready to give up on it and give it back.
Lastly, we should be able to transfer credits to other accounts. Someone that runs out of credits, but doesn't want to spend money on new credits, let them ask the community if they need them. I have 2 sons getting into development. I would like to share with them when needed.

I haven't really used Cascade in months while my plan has been active, and now there's a project I need to use it for, and have gone through my 500 credits, and now need to top-up. How is that fair? No roll-over at ALL? Not all credits rolling over ok, but NONE?

While this would be a nice to have, I don't think it's essential. The pricing model for personal users is already competitive and works well enough. They are a business at the end of the day...
Comparisons to Audible imo are like comparing apples to oranges. You can't compare the CapEx of an audiobook service to that of an AI enabled IDE supporting multiple LLMs

I don't agree. Do this and they will have to make you paid for each API call to stay in the green. And you won't laugh anymore. You don't require Amazon to deliver an empty box every day just because you have prime.

Upvote for this. I'm planning to unsub pro plan because I think my money is wasting when I paid for amount of cred but it vanishes if I don't use all of it. I don't think the team want to say: "If you can't use all the cred, that's your problem", right?

I too agree with this. Today my subscription got renewed but my unused credits around 90-100 were losted and not carry forwarded. I was saving my credits so atleast i can use them for some important work, but I really felt bad when i saw it was lost on renewal... Windsurf team please allow carry forward from previous month, I'll be really thankful to you.

Paid credits should carry over without expiring.
