Devcontainer Support

I also have this problem. I am about to get into the container and I use "reload window" to re-build the container (unintuitive) but the extensions do not install. I also installed the git devcontainer feature to run git commands and got the error "remote: Repository not found." This works out-of-the box with both vscode and cursor.

Rebuild and extension install are the only two things preventing me from moving from cursor

The issue is that VSCode extentions wont install because Windsurf is based on VSCodium - and Microshit locked up the extension store to only work with VSCode - there IS openVSX but I cant figure out how to tell the devcontainer tool thats embedded within Windsurf to access openVSX

Same I spent hours trying to figure out why my extensions were not getting installed then realised it was working on VSCODE

Id also be a huge evangelist for moving all of Northbeam's DE team's workflow into Windsurf from VSCode if you get this in :D

Icaro Ryan basic devcontainer function works (like load in container) but i also want to be able to rebuild as well - thats not an option
Also - extensions dont work, but thats a byproduct of the vscodium base not being vcompatible with MSFT's extensions, so it owuld be cool if there was a way to extend the devcontainer spec to fish for and install extensions from openvsx instead

Steven Yampolsky I see what you mean now. Yea I agree!
