It's one of the features that keeps me on Cursor. However, I also like how cursor allows (or, at least previously allowed) you to supply rule constraints by file glob per rule file. It was nice to be able to make mandatory rules that only applied to one section of your application or certain file types.

I would like to see this in Windsurf as well.

It is already supported, what are you talking about? Just put the files under .windsurf/rules and optionally link them in the .windsurfrules file.

Yes, please follow the rules feature of cursor - it's very advanced and brilliant. Best if windsurf would be compatible since there are so many great cursor rules out there. I'm referring to the rules files in .cursor/rules/ with matching
